I had a mixed experience at Capital Hill Hotel & Suites. The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore Ottawa, but several issues with my room and the service dampened my stay. I appreciated the cleanliness of the suite, but the odour and the unfulfilled kitchenette reservation were significant drawbacks.

The suite was clean, but I was disappointed when I discovered that my reservation for a kitchenette was not honored. Plus, the sofabed had a strong odor, which was unpleasant. The layout was also inconvenient as the queen bed was pushed against the closet, making it hard to hang clothes.

While most staff were professional, some were unhelpful. I had a frustrating interaction with the front desk, particularly during check-out when I asked for assistance with a taxi. They seemed uninterested in providing friendly service, which was disappointing.

I had a great stay at Capital Hill Hotel & Suites. The location was perfect for exploring Ottawa, being just blocks from Parliament and other attractions. While the room was clean and well-maintained, it was a bit noisy as it was close to the elevators. Overall, it was a solid choice for my trip.

I had a wonderful stay at the Capital Hill Hotel & Suites, especially appreciating its prime downtown location near Parliament Hill and other attractions (I could walk everywhere!). My room was spacious and well-equipped, making it comfortable, though I did notice the hotel could use some renovation (it has an older feel). Overall, I found the value for what I received to be excellent, particularly for the amenities offered.
